All electrical equipment brought to meetings, workshops, the retreat etc must carry a current (annual) PAT certificate. Failure to do so will invalidate the group’s insurance in the event of an incident necessitating a claim. There are no exceptions and ad-hoc checks at the start of each meeting will take place.
This is a requirement of the group’s insurance, all workshops/events delivered by the Quilter's Guild, and increasingly public and community venues where events, activities etc are held.
